The Mini Challenge heads to it most northerly track of the season - Croft in North Yorkshire.
The circuit (click map to enlarge) has some fast and long straights for the cars to stretch their legs but some deceptively technical corners also, making it a more challenging track than first appearences may suggest.
From a spectators point of view, Croft offers some excellent viewing sections especially from the grass banking which runs from Sunny to the S Bend into the Hairpin. A grandstand also offers wide ranging views from Hawthorn Bend.
The circuit has had a great deal of investment in recent years which shows in the paddock complex. Whilst there is no permanent restaurant there are food stalls at Clervaux but given the lovely countryside setting and ample grass viewing verges it's a great circuit for a family picnic.
Croft circuit is located just outside Croft Village near to Darlington. For full directions visit the Croft website.
Tickets are £10 each day with accompanied children under 15 FREE. But don't forget you can download a 2 for 1 here
